“I loaded my emotions onto the balloons I couldn’t escape… Wanting to feel lighter, I found myself more entangled. This painting is like a silent truce between the child in me and the adult I’ve become.”

Sırtı dönük duran bir kadın, rengârenk balonlarla hafifçe bağlı… Ama aslında onu tutan şey ip değil; ağırlıksızlığın kendisi. Float Me Away, içsel özlemle dışsal sakinlik arasındaki gerilimi yakalıyor. “Kaçamadığım duygularımı balonlara yükledim… Hafiflemek isterken daha çok bağlandım. Bu resim, içimdeki çocukla yetişkinliğin sessiz uzlaşması gibi.
